POWERGRID has acquired ‘Rajasthan IV 4A Power Transmission Limited’ for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-4: 3.5 GW): Part A with cost Rs.5,846 Cr. (NCT estimations). Project includes establishment of 765/400 kV sub-station in UP, 765 kV & 400 kV lines traversing Rajasthan & UP.
The SPV was handed over by Shri T.S.C. Bosh, CEO, RECPDCL to Shri Satyaprakash Dash, Company Secretary, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited in the presence of Senior Officials of RECPDCL, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited. The project is targeted for implementation in 24 months.
This will enable evacuation of RE power from Fatehgarh/Barmer.
