NTPC Kanti is taking all possible steps for the development of the Kanti area along with its professional operation work as well as its social responsibility.
Head of Project, NTPC Kanti, Shri K.M.K Prusty indormed the Media persons at a press briefing at site. .
He informed the media about the production of NTPC Kanti and said that “Kanti station is first among NTPC’s non-pit head stations in terms of Plant Load Factor . In terms of power generation, Unit #4 (195MW) recorded best ever continuous run of 197 days on 11.06.2022 surpassing its previous best record of 109 days (08.02.2020 to 28.05.2020).
During this year 2022-23, Kanti station has achieved the MoU target by producing 2946 MU electricity till 27-03-2023. This year 107 per cent Ash Utilization was achieved which is a great achievement. NTPC Kanti met all standards of health, safety .
We have organized medical camps every week in the nearby villages, from which about 2500 villagers have benefitted so far. In today’s digital era, modern methods of education and computer knowledge are very important to keep pace with the world. In this sequence, with the aim of promoting the level of education, we have decided to set up smart classrooms in 5 government schools in Kanti. For the empowerment of girl students.
We have started , NTPC organized mushroom training, beekeeping training, and lac bangle training program. We will soon send 30 students for training for employment and skill development of the youth.
Along with HoP, NTPC Kanti, Sh. K.M.K Prusty , Sh. Anand Banerjee (GM, O&M), Sh. Manoj Sinha (C&M), Sh. KM Prashanth , HOHR along with senior officials of NTPC Kanti were present on the occasion.
