EIL has been conferred with NSCI Safety Award – 2022 (Prashansa Patra) by the National Safety Council of India for LNG Terminal Project at Chhara, Gujarat. EIL has been praised for demonstrating outstanding performance in OSH in the year 2021.
The award was received at the 13th National Conference & Expo on Safety, Health & Environment in Goa. The LNG Terminal Project site, Chhara has also achieved the milestone of 27.0 Million man-hours without any Lost Time Accident (LTA) from May 20, 2019 – January 31, 2023.
