A three-member team from SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) bagged 2nd runners up trophy in Chairman’s Trophy for Young Managers (CTYM) competition which was held at Management Training Institute (MTI) of SAIL in Ranchi recently. The winners were awarded at a function held at SAIL Corporate Office on 1st May, 2024. Mr. Amarendu Prakash, Chairman, SAIL, presided over the function and presented the Trophies to the award winners. Present on the occasion were SAIL Board members, Senior Officers and award winners of
CTYM.
The team from RSP who bagged the 2nd runners-up comprised Mr. V P Arya, AGM (C&IT), Mr. K K Jaiswal, AGM (HRD), and Mr. Sanjay Gautam, AGM (C & IT).
The theme for this year’s competition was ‘Sustainable Future through ESG adoption: Challenges and Way Forward for SAIL.’ Mr. Amarendu Prakash congratulated the winners and urged them to implement some practical solutions in the plant units for better ESG adoption.
Notably, a team from Bokaro Steel Plant bagged the Runners up prize while a team from Bhilai Steel Plant was the champion of the competition. Mr. Ashis Chakravarthy, CGM (MTI) coordinated the function.
