Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) has achieved 100% targets under Special Campaign 5.0 (2–31 October 2025), cleaning 257 sites covering 5.69 lakh sq. ft. and disposing of 223 metric tonnes of scrap, generating Rs 1.43 crore through recycling. Innovative efforts included E-Waste Collection Kiosks, “E-Waste to Art” workshops for children, installation of bio-toilets, and Safai Mitra Shivir benefiting over 1,250 workers. A women-driven HR Cell at Ekona Mine promoted inclusivity. WCL’s initiatives highlight its commitment to cleanliness, sustainability, and community welfare.
