In yet another employee welfare initiative to ensure access to safe drinking water, two RO Water Purifying Plants were inaugurated at Kalta Iron Mines on 3rd March, 2025 by Mr. Himanshu Mishra, CGM (BIM-TIM- KIM). One of the Units has been installed at the Mining Site Office while the other has been provided at the Canteen. Mr. N.C.Panda, GM (HR &A), BIM-TIM-KIM, Mr. Parimal Bansal, GM (F&A- BIM-TIM-KIM), Mr. B.Dutta, AGM (Civil & CSR-BIM-TIM-KIM), Mr. A.K.Sahoo, Deputy Manager (HR &A),KIM and other Senior officers of KIM were present on the occasion. The UF&UV Water purification machines have been installed at a total cost of Rs. 14.00 Lakhs.
The program was coordinated by Mr. Jagannath Patra, AGM (Civil), KIM and Mr. S.K.Behera,Junior Manager (Civil-KIM).
