World Water Day 2025, themed “Glacier Preservation”, was observed at WAPCOS with great enthusiasm and purpose. The event commenced with the World Water Day Pledge, followed by a panel discussion featuring insightful deliberations on critical water-related challenges.
Participants shared diverse perspectives on issues such as climate change and its impacts, glacier preservation, water security, resilient infrastructure, integrated water resource management, and the water-energy nexus. Innovative solutions — from technology-driven strategies to community-led initiatives — were discussed, all aimed at conserving and sustaining our precious water resources.
