Mumbai. The India Energy & Climate Center (IECC) at the University of California, Berkeley, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to strengthen the state’s clean energy transition and climate resilience initiatives.
The agreement was exchanged by IECC Senior Advisor Mohit Bhargava and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai. The collaboration will focus on areas such as least-cost electricity pathways, energy storage, transmission planning, climate resilience, and capacity building.
