NEW DELHI. Ms Tripta Thakur, Director General of National Power Training Institute, has been honoured with the SAHIT Woman Achiever Award 2025 for her contributions to energy security, technical education, and capacity building, particularly in promoting women’s participation and leadership. The award was presented by Union Minister Jitendra Singh and Subi Chaturvedi. The recognition highlights her continued efforts toward strengthening the sector and advancing inclusive growth, while SAHIT, supported by Indian National Science Academy and University of Delhi, serves as a key platform for promoting women’s empowerment and leadership.
