The New Integrated Terminal Building NITB of Trichy airport

On the occasion of the inauguration of the New Integrated Terminal Building of Trichy Airport, HMCA Sh. Jyotiraditya M Scindia addressed the gathering. He mentioned that Trichy is also known for its scholars, traditions and culture apart from its landmarks.

He added that today we unfold a new golden chapter in the development of #Trichy through this new Terminal built at a cost of over Rs 1100 Crore. The govt. has ensured that airports are not only a medium of travel but become a centre of growth and employment.

Also, the Gopuram at this airport represents the culture of this city. The TrichyAirport is a green airport and he committed that by the end of 2025, 121 airports in India will be completely Green and Renewable energy based. During the last 10 years we have built an additional 75 airports taking the total number to 149.

Today, 14.5 Crore people travel by civil aviation and by 2030 we will have 42 Crore people travelling by civil aviation. In the next five years, we will surely emerge as the third-largest aviation market in the world

The New Integrated Terminal Building NITB of Trichy airport , a futuristic engineering marvel has been inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi . The NITB is a significant milestone which sincerely highlights the potential of this city in the aviation sector.The spacious terminal building is built in an area of approximately 75,000 sqm at a cost of Rs 1112 Crore. HMCA Sh. Jyotiraditya M Scindia briefed the PM regarding the state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities of this airport terminal.
