THDC India Ltd. Launches Standard Self Booking Tool (SSBT) in Collaboration with Balmer Lawrie

THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has entered into a strategic agreement with Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. to launch the Standard Self Booking Tool (SSBT), a digital platform aimed at simplifying air travel bookings for employees and their dependents. The MoU was signed in the presence of Sh. Shallinder Singh, Director (Personnel), and Sh. Neeraj Verma, Executive Director (NCR), along with Sh. Ashok Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. Congratulating the team, Sh. R.K. Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL, remarked, “This initiative reflects our commitment to employee-centric digital reforms and welfare measures.” He added that the Human Resource team at THDCIL continues to spearhead transformative changes that enhance transparency and accessibility for employees.

Sh. Shallinder Singh emphasized that employee welfare is a core focus at THDCIL, stating, “The SSBT platform is a testament to our efforts to provide efficient and transparent services to our workforce.” The SSBT will streamline official and personal air ticket bookings for both serving and retired employees, offering benefits like real-time fare comparison, zero service charges, corporate fare advantages, complimentary meals, seat selection, and 24×7 travel assistance. The event also saw the presence of senior dignitaries including Sh. Ashutosh K. Anand, DGM, D(P) Sectt, THDCIL; Ms. Ruhi Singh, Head – MICE, and Sh. Devender Tiwari, Head – Operations and KAM from Balmer Lawrie, marking the collaborative step as a significant milestone in employee convenience and digital empowerment.
