Surjeet Mishra, executive director (projects) of Iisco Steel Plant (ISP) in Burnpur has been appointed as the full time director in-charge of Iisco Steel Plant (ISP), Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) of Sail on Monday. Udyog Bhawan in New Delhi has issued a notification appointing him as the new DIC of ISP and DSP. His appointment has come at a time when Iisco Steel Plant in Burnpur is undergoing a massive Rs 45,000 crore expansion project, the highest ever single central government investment in West Bengal.
