Students Participate Enthusiastically in Spot Painting Competition organised by SAIL RSP

As part of the Fire Services Week celebrations, the Fire Services Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) organised a Spot Painting Competition on 22nd and 23rd April 2025 at Ispat English Medium School, Sector-20. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 200 students from Class 2 to Class 10.

Students Participate Enthusiastically in Spot Painting Competition organised by SAIL RSPThe competition was conducted across three categories with a common inspiring theme — “Fireman: Your Partner for Saving Life and Property.”

In Group ‘A’, about 50 students from Classes 8 to 10 showcased their creativity and awareness through thoughtful and vibrant paintings.

Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’, comprising 140 students from Classes 5, 6 & 7 and Classes 2, 3 & 4 respectively, also displayed remarkable enthusiasm and artistic flair, bringing alive the critical role of fire services in society.

The event aimed to instill a strong sense of fire safety awareness among young minds while encouraging them to express their understanding and gratitude towards fire service personnel creatively. The initiative successfully combined education with art, leaving a lasting impression on the young minds about the importance of fire prevention and emergency response.
