Sri Girish Gopinathan Nair has taken over as Director (Technical) of Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) in Sanctoria, West Bengal. He was serving as Executive Director (Contract Management Cell) at our corporate office in Kolkata. With over 34 years experience, in the coal mining industry and a strong background both in underground and opencast mining, Shri Nair is a distinguished professional in the coal mining industry. He began his career with us in 1990 at our subsidiary, SECL, and has also held various key positions at our subsidiary BCCL over the years.
