SpiceJet The Most Delayed Indian Airline

In May, only 61 per cent of SpiceJet’s flights departed on time from the four major airports in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, as reported by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. This was a decline from the already lower figure of nearly 70 per cent in April.

 

  • Air India Ltd. slid to fifth from second in the punctuality ranks, with almost twice as many flight delays in May
  • As per the report, only 85% of Air Asia’s flights departed on time in May.
  • Vistara Airlines is at fourth position with 89.5% of its flights departed on time.
  • 90% of IndiGo’s flights departed on time in May.
  • Akasa Air;93% of its flights departed on time, as per the Bloomberg report.
