Where robots chase goals and young minds engineer victories, a new kind of game begins. At Birla Open Minds International School, Shri Banshidhar Nagar, Garhwa, Jharkhand. This exciting fusion of sport and technology transformed learning into an unforgettable experience.

A three-day Soccer Robotics Workshop at the Zonal Centre of Tech radiance offered students hands-on experience in robot design, coding, and strategic gameplay, fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

The event commenced with a formal inauguration led by the Director and Principal of the school, setting an enthusiastic and forward-looking tone. It concluded with a memorable valedictory ceremony held in the esteemed presence of Mr Sanjay Pandey, Hon’ble SDM, Garhwa, who applauded the students’ passion and encouraged them to continue exploring the frontiers of innovation and technology.

Soccer Robotics Championship Birla Open Minds GarhwaFour students, Arthivit Kumar Singh, Mahi Singh, Saurabh Kumar Gupta, and Sonali Kumari, earned the opportunity to represent the school at a national-level championship at IIT Delhi (03–06 April 2026). Guided by mentors Ms Anamika Prajapati and Mr Raj Kumar, the team showcased remarkable dedication and spirit.

In a commendable initiative, six students from neighbouring schools were also included, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive and collaborative learning.

Sharing his thoughts, Mr Ravish Prajapati, Principal, said: “It is inspiring to see our students embrace innovation with such enthusiasm and confidence. Platforms like the Soccer Robotics Workshop not only enhance technical skills but also nurture teamwork, leadership, and resilience; qualities essential for future-ready learners.”

Sharing his thoughts, Mr Yatharth Gautham said: “At our school, we believe education must go beyond textbooks and ignite curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every learner. Initiatives like the Soccer Robotics Workshop empower students to think innovatively, work collaboratively, and prepare for the future. We are immensely proud of our young achievers who have demonstrated that with the right guidance and opportunity, they can compete on national platforms and excel.”
