NEW DELHI. The PESB has recommended Smt. S. Usha for the post of Director (Market Operation) in Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India). Smt. S. Usha currently serves as the Executive Director at the National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC), GRID-INDIA, in New Delhi. At NLDC, Ms. S Usha became the first-ever woman to lead National Load Despatch Centre (NLDC), GRID-INDIA as its Head.
Ms. Usha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engg. from Calicut University and has over three decades of expertise in power system operations and electricity market operations across Southern and Western Regional Load Despatch Centres. As a visionary and dynamic leader, she inspires excellence and sets new benchmarks in the industry.
