SHIMLA. SJVN Limited has officially kicked off its Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 cleanliness fortnight, which runs from May 16 to May 31 under the directions of the Ministry of Power. To mark the beginning, Chairman and Managing Director Bhupender Gupta urged all employees to actively participate, while Director (Personnel) Ajay Kumar Sharma led the cleanliness pledge at the Shimla headquarters and Director (Finance) Parthajit De administered it at the Delhi office. Similar pledge ceremonies were held across all company projects and offices to reinforce SJVN’s commitment to the Swachh Bharat mission. Over the next two weeks, the company will organize a variety of activities, including cleanliness drives, tree plantation campaigns, school competitions, and waste management initiatives, aiming to promote sustainable habits and spread environmental awareness among local communities.
