Under the leadership of CMD Bhupender Gupta, SJVN organized a significant plantation drive at Chamiyana Road near Surala Village, Shimla, as part of the #Plant4Mother campaign initiated by the Prime Minister to promote environmental conservation.
The drive, inaugurated by Directors Ajay Kumar Sharma and Sipan Kumar Garg, saw the planting of 300 saplings of species like Oak, Rhododendron, and apricot, with an ambitious target of 4,500 saplings to be planted by December 2025, highlighting the company’s commitment to expanding green cover and raising ecological awareness among employees and the community.
