SHIMLA. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, SJVN has provided financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh to the Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Kosh under the Mukhya Mantri Sukh Aashray Scheme of the Government of Himachal Pradesh, which aims to ensure care, protection and long-term rehabilitation of orphaned, abandoned and surrendered children in the State. The cheque was presented to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, in the presence of the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Pathania, and the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Sh. Sanjay Sood, by Sh. Vikas Marwah, Head of Project, Rampur Hydro Power Station, and Sh. Vivek Sharma, Head of Project, Luhri Hydro Power Project (Stage-I). Sh. Bhupender Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director, SJVN, and Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN and Chairman, SJVN Foundation, stated that the contribution would support requirements related to education, healthcare, nutrition, housing, skill development and overall welfare of the beneficiary children.
