Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, CMD of SJVN, extended a warm farewell as he departs to join Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission as Chairman. Under his leadership, SJVN achieved significant growth, expanding its portfolio from 5200 MW to 59872 MW. During his tenure, the company excelled in various sectors, and its share price experienced remarkable growth. Sh. Sharma’s 34 years of experience in the Power Sector played a pivotal role in steering SJVN towards its ambitious goals.
Over the years, he has received several recognitions namely the ‘Prestigious CEO with HR Orientation Award’ by ET Now, ‘PSU Award of the Year’ by Dalal Street Investment Journal for his outstanding contribution in making SJVN most efficient & profitable Mini Ratna Company in the year 2020 & 2021, ‘CEO of the Year Award’ by Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Awards; ‘HIM RATTAN Award’ by Promoters of Social & Cultural Heritage of Himachal Pradesh, to name a few.
