SJVN celebrated the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram by organizing a mass singing of the National Song at its Corporate Headquarters in Shimla under the guidance of Chairman and Managing Director, Sh. Bhupender Gupta. The event, graced by Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), along with senior officials, marked the beginning of year-long celebrations across all SJVN projects and offices nationwide. The live-streaming of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s address from New Delhi added to the occasion’s significance, as he emphasized the unifying and inspiring power of *Vande Mataram*. Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma highlighted that the song embodies India’s rich cultural heritage and emotional spirit. As part of the Government of India’s nationwide initiative running from November 2025 to November 2026, SJVN reaffirmed its commitment to promoting national unity, pride, and cultural awareness through various programs throughout the year.
