Manish Gupta has taken over charge as Director (Technical, Projects & Raw Materials) of Steel Authority of India’s (SAIL) corporate office with effect from January 13. Prior to this, he was serving as Executive Director (Works) at SAIL’s IISCO Steel Plant.He started his career with SAIL in 1991 as a Management Trainee (Technical) at Durgapur Steel Plant.
An accomplished professional with over three decades of experience in the steel industry, Gupta has worked in various plants and units of SAIL while consistently demonstrating excellent technical expertise, operational excellence and leadership.
