Shri G N Karale former EX ED. NTPC Passes away.

Vetrean NTPCian Shri G N Karalay is no more.

Shri G N Karale , former  Executive Director, NTPC Passes away.  He was settled at Nagpur.   A known face of NTPC ,Shri Karalay was associated with NTPC as ED ( CP) and ED ( CC& M) . He was heading the Korba and Ramagundam Station at the construction and commissiong stage.

He was very motivating Head and cool,soft spoken pleasant Techonocrate always very helpful to the team, associated with initially with  Central Electricity Authority ., BHEL and after NTPC, for some time he provided consultancy to Power Finance Corporation. Nagpur University has included one of his book on Rural Development in their PG Curriculum. This book was released by Shri R V Shahi , Former Secretary , POWER .He was one of the motivating forces during the erection and commissioning of 2X500 MW units at Korba.

In the words of Shri C P Jain, former CMD of NTPC, “I am deeply saddened by this news. Shri G N Karalay was one of the most dependable and trustworthy officers I had the privilege of knowing. May his soul rest in peace.”

Shri R S Sharma , Former CMD , NTPC said he used to respect all , very committed to his work. Work was his Puja . He had a neck to identify the talent and make their best use.

One of his old followers Shri K B Dubey, Former Director, NTPC said in his condolence message that  Shri Karaley was a true *Gandhiyan* in the real sense, he always carried a framed picture of Gandhi jee where ever he use to travel . He will first put the picture of Gandhi jee , do Pranam and then use to start the day.
