Mahakumbh 2025: With the spiritual event being held after an interval of 12 years, Millions of people from all around the world who believe in Santana Dharma are arriving in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

About 400 million (40 crores) devotees are expected to take dip in Sangam-confluence of rivers Ganga and Yamuna and Saraswati (disappeared) in 45 days event.

While there is a lot of joy and spiritual energy, safety too becomes a major concern. On their part, the Uttar Pradesh police is working relentlessly on ground to provide & protection.

To tackle the rush of devotees at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela, as well as to predict sudden surges in crowd numbers, authorities are relying on CCTV cameras equipped with Artificial Intelligence.

As of January 21, 2025, the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is witnessing an overwhelming turnout, with over 9 crore devotees reported to have taken a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam since the event began on January 13.
