Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma has taken charge as Director (Personnel) of SJVN. Upon assuming his new role, Sharma expressed his commitment to driving SJVN’s mission of sustainable growth in the power sector, overseeing the company’s Human Resource and Legal functions, as well as heading its CSR Foundation. His leadership is expected to strengthen the company’s workplace culture and contribute to its long-term objectives.
With over two decades of experience in HR and industrial operations, Sharma joined SJVN in 2009, playing a key role in implementing strategic HR initiatives, improving employee engagement, and integrating technology into HR processes. He previously served with the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), earning recognition as an Outstanding Employee in 2007. Sharma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in HR, and certifications in HRM from XLRI.
