Bilaspur received a significant boost in community healthcare and higher education through SECL’s CSR initiative, which signed two MoUs worth Rs.75.13 lakh. The first MoU, with Ramakrishna Mission, Bilaspur, allocated Rs 61.96 lakh to support the “Maa Sarada Charitable Dispensary,” enhancing medical services such as dental, physiotherapy, eye care, pathology, and OPD for underprivileged rural and slum communities. The second MoU, with Government E. Raghvendra Rao Postgraduate Science College, provided rs 13.17 lakh for upgrading M.Sc. Physics classrooms and laboratories, fostering scientific research and learning. These initiatives aim to improve healthcare access and educational infrastructure in Bilaspur and surrounding areas.
The MoUs were formalized at a ceremony held at SECL Headquarters, in the presence of Mr. Biranchi Das, Director (HR), SECL.
