SECL achieves 100 million tonnes of coal dispatch for FY 23-24

SECL  has despatched 100 million tonnes of coal in record time till October 28 this fiscal. About 80 per cent of the despatch supply has been made to the power sector, South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) said in a statement. This feat of the company will help strengthen the supply of coal for power generation in power plants,” SECL said.

 

Gevra, Dipka, and Kusmunda Coal mines  in the Korba area have contributed significantly to the total dispatch of 100 million tonnes of coal with 30.3 MT, 19.1 MT and 25.1 coal supply, respectively.. SECL has set a 197 MT coal production target for the current financial year.
