The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Shri Satyabrata Mukherjee for the position of Chairman and Managing Director of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL). Currently serving as the Director (Operations) within the same organization.
Shri Mukherjee was selected after the board interviewed two candidates for the role. The recommendation comes at a crucial time as the top post at AVNL is presently vacant, and his appointment is expected to provide steady leadership to the defense public sector undertaking once the final approvals are processed.
