Ms Sangeeta Kaushik, Executive Director (Corporate Planning), NTPC Limited, addressed a session titled “Mid-Career to Leadership: Pathways & Pitfalls,” where she interacted with young women managers and shared practical strategies for career progression. She emphasised the importance of self-awareness, work-life planning, seeking support, continuous learning, and building strong support systems. Highlighting the need to move beyond comfort zones, build strategic networks, and proactively showcase achievements, she encouraged women to leverage their strengths such as empathy, collaboration and emotional intelligence to effectively transition into leadership roles.
