PESB has recommended the name of Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited, next Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). His leadership in executing large-scale metro, bridge, and tunnel projects—along with his advocacy for sustainable and connected urban mobility—has been widely recognized.
Ahmad emerged as the top choice following a rigorous interview process that included several senior executives from across the public sector. His name has now been forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval, subject to mandatory vigilance and procedural clearances.
