SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Vidya Mandir Trust (SSRVM Trust) on 12th August 2025 regarding taking over and running of 3 educational institute, namely Ispat English Medium School, Sector-20, Ispat English Medium School, Sector-22 and Ispat Vidyamandir School, Sector-19.
On behalf of RSP Mr. T G Kanekar Chief General Manager (Town Services & CSR) signed the agreement while SSRVM Trust was represented by Chairman of the Trust Commodore H G Harsha. Mr. G S Dash, CGM (Internal Audit), Mr. Sanjay Mehrotra, GM (HR) and Mr. Rajesh Ku Sahu, DGM (Law) from RSP, Mr.Anand GN and Ms. Manjula Ravindranath, both Administrators of the SSRVM Trust were also present on the occasion.
