SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) won multiple awards at the 18th Global Communication Conclave organized by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) on 8th & 9th November, 2024 at Mangalore. Demonstrating excellence in communications, Public Relations and CSR, RSP received three Silver Awards and a Consolation Prize, underscoring its dedication to innovation and quality of work. Justice P Krishna Bhat, former Judge, Karnataka High Court presented the awards. Mr. Aditya Narayan Pati, AGM, CSR, Mr. Sasanka Sekhar Pattanaik, Deputy Manager (PR) and Mr. Joydev Majumdar, Assistant Manager (PR) represented RSP at the conclave and received the awards.
RSP won the Silver Medals in Digital Media Innovation, Best Company Culture Transformation and CSR Child Care categories while it bagged Consolation Award in PR Case Study category.
Notably, the 18th Global Communication Conclave, held under the theme ‘Reconnect,’ provided a platform for industry leaders and experts to discuss and deliberate upon the evolving dynamics of communication in today’s digital landscape. Public Relations Council of India is a national professional body of PR professionals, communicators, advertising, PR academicians and other allied services.
RSP’s excellent performance at the event shows its ability to keep up with changing ways of communication and CSR while staying focused on trust and transparency.
