SAIL Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) won the prestigious Kalinga Environment Excellence Award 2023 in the Five Star category for its outstanding environmental management. The award was presented on June 8th, 2024, by Ms. Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of Lesotho. Key eco-friendly initiatives included air pollutant control, waste utilization, water conservation, and impactful CSR activities.
In a function held on 11th June 2024 Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director In-Charge, RSP received the Kalinga Environment Excellence Award.
