SAIL has been adjudged as Circularity Champion in the Outlook Planet Sustainability Summit & Awards 2024 held at Goa on May 27, 2024. The event was organized by the Outlook Group and IIT, Goa to recognize the role of central PSUs in India’s transition to a green economy. Steel Authority of India Limited has been recognized for aligning Principles of Circularity across all its processes related to iron & steelmaking in order to improve sustainability of the industry.
