The RSP Shuttle Cup – Badminton Tournament organised by the Sports Unit of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) commenced on 24th march, 2025 at Ispat Indoor Stadium, Sector-20. Mr. Tarun Misra, ED (HR) was the chief guest of the occasion and declared the tournament open. Mr. B R Palai, ED (Works), many CGMs and senior officers were present on the inaugural ceremony of the tournament.
Notably, the matches are being played in both the categories, i.e., Singles and Doubles for both Male and Female. The tournament is open for all RSP employees in two categories, namely Above 45 or Below 45. More than 150 participants have registered for the tournament which is scheduled to conclude on 27th March.
Mr. Raghunandan Padhi, Deputy Manager (Sports) coordinated the event.
