Rising Jaunpur, the fourth event in this Rising 100 Cities series, unfolded at Motel Utsav, Uttar Pradesh. The event, organized by Network18, presented by Maruti Suzuki, and supported by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, provided a platform to discuss Jaunpur’s significant advancements in sustainability, digital transformation, and community development. Alongside its historical prominence, Jaunpur’s modern trajectory highlights its growing relevance in Uttar Pradesh’s development roadmap.

The gathering brought together distinguished speakers, including Dr. Dinesh Chandra (DM, Jaunpur), Mr. SK Singh (ARTO), Dr. Jhanvi Shrivastava (Nodal Officer, Kaushal Vikas, and Professor, Purvanchal University), Dr. Digvijay Singh Rathore (Cyber Crime Expert and Professor, Purvanchal University), Mr. Pawan Kumar (Executive Officer, Nagar Palika), Mr. Natthulal Gangwar (Jila Panchayat Adhikari), Mr. Abhishek Singh (Social Worker), and Mr. Ramesh Mishra (MLA, TBC). Their discussions revolved around unlocking Jaunpur’s potential through technology, Sadak Suraksha, Swachh Bharat, and Skill Development to drive regional and national progress.
