Bhubaneswar, October 2, 2025 – REC Regional Office, Bhubaneswar, was felicitated by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) for achieving Best CTU Adoption in the Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 campaign, during the Swachh Bharat Divas celebrations held at Ekamra Hall, Bhubaneswar.
The token of appreciation was presented by Honourable Mayor of BMC, Smt. Sulochana Das, and Commissioner BMC, Shri Chanchal Rana.
Under the initiative, REC RO Bhubaneswar adopted five blackspot sites in the city that were in urgent need of restoration, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for the community.
This recognition reflects REC’s continued commitment towards supporting Government of India’s Swachh Bharat Mission and creating sustainable civic infrastructure, while fostering public participation in cleanliness and hygiene practices.
