REC Limited, chaired by CMD Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan, highlighted significant achievements for 2023-24. The company reported a 34% growth in loans sanctioned, reaching ₹3,58,816 crore, and a 67% increase in disbursements, totaling ₹1,61,462 crore. Total income rose by 20% to ₹47,214 crore, with a net profit of ₹14,019 crore, up 27% year-on-year. The loan book stands at ₹5.09 lakh crore, growing by 17%. REC also released its first Sustainability Report, aligned with GRI Universal Standards 2021, emphasizing its commitment to ESG performance and carbon footprint reduction, as part of its goal to achieve Net Zero. Shri Dewangan thanked shareholders for their ongoing support.
