REC Limited has approved extending financial assistance up to Rs 3,045 Crore to BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited) for establishment and development of the Metro Line under the Phase-II project in Bengaluru. The Phase II of the project will enhance connectivity and traffic ease in densely populated city of Bengaluru.
