Parivartan Sangh founder and social activist Mr Rakesh Daultabad today interacted with locals during a ‘Milan Samaroh’ organised at Jahajgadh, community centre and Kakraula, Bhangraula area of the city. People of every age-group thronged the venue to meet their leader. During the hour-long interaction, Mr Daultabad discussed local issues being faced by the residents of the area.
Often seen as crusader of public welfare initiatives, his presence during the Samaroh created enthusiasm among the people, especially youths. Mr. Dultabad was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of the locals and expressed his affection for the people. The audience were quite involved during the interaction as rarely anyone takes the pain to discuss issues affecting their life.
Known for going overboard for helping others, Mr Daultabad assured of every possible support to the people. “People of this area have been neglected for long by the present leadership. They are even struggling for basic amenities. They have made their mind to elect a capable leader who can fill this void and put an end to their sufferings,” said Mr Daultabad while speaking during the occasion.
Raising issues related to the development of the city, he said, “Education, health and employment are some of the issues that affects people’s lives and the government has failed to meet the requirement of the people. There are schemes but the benefit never reaches to the beneficiaries. Better delivery mechanism and people-centric policies must be framed to deal with these problems.”
Mr Daultabad came hard on the issue of unemployment in the region as well. He said, “Unemployment is really a huge problem today. Youth with master’s degree are applying for peon or clerical posts. This is an alarming situation. Youths are the future of our country and utilising young energy is very important for the country’s overall growth. So, the young generation must be provided with employment opportunities besides skill development training.”
A musical performance by singer Masum Sharma also marked the event. Usha Jangra and Sinam Catholik also performed on the occasion and the audience danced to their tune.
