The G20 Summit in New Delhi marked a pivotal moment for the country, as world leaders converged under one roof to address a number of global concerns. RailTel was entrusted with delivering integrated Telecom solutions at Pragati Maidan, specifically at the newly inaugurated Bharat Mandapam and exhibition halls.
RailTel and its partners invested Over 3600 man-days to establish cutting-edge Mobile Network Infrastructure and a neutral In-building Telecom Infrastructure, substantially enhancing mobile coverage across the expansive 122-acre ITPO campus. This telecom infrastructure consists of 1675 indoor antennas, 300 access points, over 35 KM of RF cable, and 25 km of fiber cable. As part of the project WiFi infrastructure was strategically placed in outdoor corridors, covering the various halls slated for G20 events and the back-end IT infrastructure for WiFi access has been seamlessly integrated with the Indoor Wi-Fi infrastructure. RailTel has deployed a secure and robust Telecom Infrastructure, ensuring on-demand wired Internet. RailTel also provided passive infra to Telcos.
