RailTel Corporation of India Limited has appointed Ms. Sarika Aggarwal Synrem as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the company. Her appointment, approved by the Ministry of Railways, is for an initial tenure of three years from the date she assumes charge or until further orders. Ms. Synrem took charge on November 21, 2025, and has since joined RailTel’s Senior Management team.
Ms. Synrem is a 2001-batch Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) officer with more than two decades of experience in defence finance, governance, programme evaluation, capacity building, and revenue administration. Her extensive expertise is expected to further strengthen RailTel’s vigilance framework and organisational integrity.
