New Delhi | January 11, 2026 – The Public Relations Society  Delhi (PRSD) successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting (AGM) yesterday , unveiling a strategic roadmap designed to navigate the rapidly evolving communications landscape. The assembly of industry veterans and communications professionals highlighted a period of robust growth, marked by a significant expansion in membership and a strengthened digital ecosystem.

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Sarvesh Tiwari, Chairman, along with Shri Vipin Kharbanda, Vice Chairman; Shri G.S. Bawa, Secretary; Shri Sanchit Sharma, Joint Secretary; and Ms. Rama Vijay, Treasurer.

Strategic Growth & Digital Transformation

A comprehensive review of the 2024–2026 period showcased PRSDs aggressive push toward visibility and stakeholder outreach. Central to this success was the development of a cohesive digital ecosystem, leveraging social media and an enhanced web presence to foster deeper engagement within the professional community.

Dr. Sarvesh Tiwari, Chairman, PRSD, emphasized the strategic shift during his address:

Our steady rise in membership and the expansion of our digital footprint are more than just metrics; they reflect PRSDs commitment to building a credible, future-ready professional community. We are moving beyond traditional boundaries to position Public Relations as a core strategic driver for organizational success. Our collective efforts have created a more connected and influential platform for communicators across the region.”

High-Impact Initiatives

The AGM highlighted several landmark events that defined the societys recent trajectory:

•           PRISM Awards: An initiative dedicated to honoring excellence among women professionals in PR and communications.

•           Gandhian Communication Forum: A unique session held on October 2nd exploring the intersection of Gandhian values and contemporary ethics in communication.

Future Outlook

Presenting the Annual Report, G.S. Bawa, Secretary, PRSD, noted: The past year was defined by high participation and strategic clarity. Moving forward, our focus remains on professional excellence and ensuring our members remain at the forefront of the global communication shift.”

Vipin Kharbanda, Vice Chairman, PRSD, concluded the proceedings with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the governing body and the 200+ members whose commitment continues to drive the societys mission.

The AGM was preceded by an engaging session by  Shri Mayank Jha, Founder & CEO, Readycoder Pvt. Ltd., who shared insights on building a startup and highlighted the critical role of strategic communication in shaping brand narratives, building trust, and driving sustainable business growth.
