Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister inaugurated POWERGRID’s Inter-Regional ER–WR Interconnection Project worth ₹293 Crore, which will enhance the inter-regional power transfer capacity between the Eastern and Western grids by 1,600 MW. It will improve grid reliability and ensure reliable power supply across the region.
