PRCI Rourkela Chapter hosted seminar titled "PR in Digital Era"

The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Rourkela Chapter hosted a seminar titled “PR in Digital Era” recently, at Rourkela, bringing together industry professionals to explore the evolving landscape of public relations in the digital age.

The event featured prominent dignitaries including Mr. S. S. Roychoudhury, Chief General Manager (Maintenance) of RSP, who served as the chief guest and highlighted the significance of adapting PR strategies in a digital context. Mrs. Archana Satpathy, Chairperson of PRCI Rourkela Chapter, delivered the welcome address and expressed gratitude to key figures such as Mr. MB Jayram, Chief Mentor and Chairman Emeritus, and Ms. Geeta Shankar, National President, for their support.

The seminar included a presentation by Mr. Sasanka S. Pattanaik, Deputy Manager (PR) at RSP, who discussed innovative strategies for audience engagement in the digital era. Dr. Anjana Maitra, Vice-Chairperson of the Rourkela Chapter, shared insights from the  Global Communication Conclave held in Mangalore, where she moderated a panel discussion. The event fostered an interactive atmosphere, encouraging participants to exchange ideas and best practices, culminating in engaging activities such as a spot quiz led by Mr. Joydev Majumdar, Assistant Manager (PR).
