NEW DELHI. The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has announced the recipients of the inaugural Individual PRCI NextGEN Governance Awards – 2026 . PRCI NextGEN Governance Awards – 2026, recognising outstanding institutions and public administrators who have demonstrated excellence in governance, transparency, innovation, accountability and citizen-centric public service.
Distinguished Administrators Honored
Alongside the Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA), five prominent public administrators have been selected for their transformational leadership across various critical sectors. The individual awardees include:
- Shri Syedain Abbasi, IAS (Assam) for Sustainable Water Leadership.
- Shri Deepak Kumar Singh, IAS (Bihar) for Technology-Driven Administration.
- Shri Rajiv Kumar Singh (NIOS, Ministry of Education) for Inclusive Education Leadership.
- Shri Arun Dev Gautam, IPS (Chhattisgarh) for Ethical Governance.
- Shri Kesav Chandra, IAS (NDMC) for Excellence in Urban Governance & Public Administration.
National Governance Symposium Organized
To complement the awards ceremony, PRCI will host the Transformative Governance Symposium. This national forum will bring together a diverse group of distinguished leaders from the government, public sector, academia, media, and communication sectors. Together, these experts will deliberate on cutting-edge, innovative governance frameworks and map out collaborative pathways for progressive nation-building.
