Eminent speakers gathered at Secunderabad on 28th October to address a select group of PR professionals on the occasion of World Communicators Day .The day was celebrated with great enthusiasm followed by insightful discussions The event aimed to shed light on the history of World Communicators Day,Suraj Singh Malhotra, the Chairman and Managing Director of Namdhari Group, & Honarary Consul General of Lesotho, Southern Africa was the Chief Guest.
He narrated his experiences through anecdotes and engaging stories. He conveyed the message that countries too practise diplomacy with all seriousness keeping in view the fact that each word spoken will set the tone for resolving issues.
Eminent Sr Journalist , R Prithviraj, shared valuable insights into the evolution of communication and its role in shaping society. K.Ravindran, Sr National Vice President, PRCI spoke on the significance of World Communicators Day and how it evolved on the basis of the first Press Release issued on 28th October in 1906 in USA.
Shakeel Ahmed, Chairman, PRCI Hyderabad welcomed the gathering and introduced the speakers. Fredrick Michael, Director, Young Communicators Club ( YCC), PRCI shared information on how PRCI supports young professionals from diverse backgrounds through mentorship. TVS Narayan, Zonal Chairman, South Zone, PRCI gave an overview of PRCI activities with reference to the region. G. Aneeja, Vice Chairperson, PRCI, Hyderabad presented the Vote of Thanks.
Earlier awardees were felicitated for their exemplary work & bringing laurels to the chapter. Philip Joshua, Secretary, Jacob Ross, Jt. Secretary, Noel Robinson, Treasurer of PRCI Hyderabad curated the event. Sarah Varadha compered the programme.The event provided a unique platform for attendees to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of effective communication and its historical relevance.
