PRCI appoints Dr. T. Vinayakumar as Chairman of Governing Council

BANGLORE : The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), the country’s apex professional body for public relations and communication practitioners, has formally appointed Dr. T. Vinayakumar as Chairman of its Governing Council, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s leadership journey. A senior professional with over 46 years of experience in advertising and public relations, Dr. Vinayakumar brings with him deep industry expertise and a strong commitment to advancing the profession. Established in 2004 by its Founder, Chairman Emeritus and Chief Mentor Shri M. B. Jayaram along with a group of communication professionals, PRCI continues to serve as a national platform for professional excellence and global engagement in communications.

Alongside the appointment of the Chairman, PRCI has constituted its new Governing Council. Shri Chinmaye Praveen, Shri K. Ravindran, Shri C. J. Singh, Dr. T. S. Latha, Shri Arijit Majumdar, Dr. B. K. Ravi and Shri Ravi Mahapatra have been inducted as Directors, while Shri M. B. Jayaram, Shri Srinivas Murthy, Smt. Geetha Shanker, National President, Shri S. Narendra and Dr. K. R. Venugopal will continue as Directors. Dr. Prashant Venugopal has been appointed Chairman of the Young Communicators Club, Shri Pashupathi Sharma will take charge as Secretary General, and Shri U. S. Kutty will serve as Senior Vice President of the National Executive. PRCI has also announced that it will organise a CEO Meet in New Delhi in the near future.
