NEW DELHI. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Pravin Kumar, currently serving as General Manager at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), for the post of Director (Finance). Kumar is presently handling key responsibilities related to Finance, Costing, Funds Management and Real Estate Management at SAIL’s ERP Centre, Corporate Office, Bhilai.
The selection followed interviews with 10 candidates, including senior officials from SAIL and other public-sector organisations. The shortlisted candidates included Executive Directors and Chief General Managers from SAIL, as well as senior finance officials from Indian Railway Finance Corporation and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited.
